Barbarian: A Monk doesn't have a lot of options when it comes to AC anyway, and a Barbarian also bases their powers on Wisdom.Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Sorcerer Builds Feature Regular Classes Lann, one of the Companions in the game, is this subclass and with the right weapons and Skills, he's absolutely brutal. Zen Archer: These Monks are deadly with a bow and have the most skills when it comes to Dexterity-related abilities.Traditional Monk: This subclass focuses more on non-magical abilities and gets bonus Feats and AC bonuses in place of these unique class abilities.Student of Stone: These Monks sacrifice high mobility for better resilience, enabling them to take more damage and spend more time on the front line.They're equally deadly with weapons and unarmed techniques. Sohei: A mounted monk with a talent for fighting on horseback, or whatever animal they choose.The Sensei relies primarily on Wisdom as opposed to Dexterity or Constitution. Sensei: A Monk who has moved beyond study to become a master themselves.An interesting role-playing choice for players that are considering the Draconic Mythic Path. Scaled Fist: Another good choice for a melee martial artist, this Monk has studied under a Draconic master and has similar skills.This is one of the best options for those building a melee-based Monk. Quarterstaff Master: As the name implies, this Monk is a master of the quarterstaff, but they can use other weapons if needed.Tiefling: There are several choices for Tiefling Heritage and several have bonuses in the right stats, but others include penalties so choose carefully.A general choice can give a Monk the Stone Fist power, which is great for a melee build. Oread: The Oread are wise, but not dexterous.Kitsune: The Dexterity buff for any Heritage choice is nice but this race also gets an Intelligence bonus, which might be wasted on a Monk. ![]()
